Hey remember when you were a kid (this might only applie to AMericans)they said if you tunneled to China everything would be upside down? We have reached the end of our holiday here in Communist China and I would wonder what all the freaking out was so many years ago about Communist? EVerybody heres seems content with their life whether it be the guy sweeping the road with what looks like a broken mop or the old men sitting in the park reading the paper.
Yesterday we spent sometime with four Chinese having lunch with them and getting to know each others country alittle better. They told us we needed to travel to the TV tower by way of the tourist tunnel.Let me say that if you ever get to Shanghai do not miss the tourist tunnel who ever thought of that 70's era throw back must have been on qualudes.Small children must get scared in it with the strobig lights and scary ballon men. I would also suggest that maybe winter is the time to visit China as the lines at the TV tower snake around for miles but today we walked right in.
Then again we left Beijing a couple of days again and it was 40 degrees and today its a high of minus 7 so I guess you take a shot.I don't think I would need much more time then we had in each city as city "stuff" gets repetitive after a while It would be nice to get out into the wilds of China and I hope one day Harbin for the Ice Festival. Well time grows short and the bus to the airport is idling out side so I must run. To everybody and or anybody that might have followed us thanks still I could use some star ratings on the pictures so I can get blog of trhe day.Keith p.s.Give a pat to Luckman
